We found a small, round, button shaped item.  Evie asked what it was and I said I didn’t know.  She pronounced it a magnet.  I said I don’t think so.  She explained she was going to go see if it stuck to the fridge.

“If it does, it’s a magnet. If it doesn’t, then I don’t know what the heck it is, Nana!”

Evie was hanging in my room and all of a sudden takes off and tells me she’ll be right back.  A couple seconds later, she pokes her head back in the door and says:

“Well, I’ll be back in a jiffy.”

A few minutes later, she comes back in and says:

“Sorry, Dad was talking to me so it turned up to be a little more than a jiffy.”

Evie – “Mama, shush!

Mama – ” Why do I have to shush?”

Evie – “Because you are being unquiet!”

Evie – “It’s really helpful to have two hands!”

Evie – “My videos I make are just full of laughter, just fulllll of laughter!”

Nana- “The internet’s not working.”

Evie – “Aaaagain!”

Nana – “Wow, you couldn’t even keep up with Nana thru one thrift store!”

Evie – Heavy sigh, “I know.  I don’t get very much exercise.”

Evie – “Last night me and Mama and Dada were watching these two…coochicoos….”

Evie – “I asked Mama if you could go to dinner with us and she said ‘I don’t see why!'”

Nana – “You can’t have 4 favorites.”

Evie – “Aaawww!”
