Evie and I were talking about when Mom and Dad get married.  She was thinking that Mom would then have 4 names.  I told her that she didn’t have to take Dad’s name if she didn’t want to but that she probably would because then we’d all have the same name and there wouldn’t be any confusion.  Her response was:

“Yeah, that’s probably good but I’ve known Mama a long time so I’m not confused!”

Evie – ” Remember when we went to Chick-Fil-A?”

Nana – “No, I don’t think you went there with me.  You probly went with someone else.”

Evie – “No, you went!   I think you just don’t remember cuz you’re old!”

While watching a commercial:

Nana – “Don’t text and drive!!!”

Evie – “Unless your car can drive itself.”

Nana – “Oh, oh.  I didn’t think about the soft feel of your boots.  You’ll ruin them on the grass and in the sand.  I shouldn’t have bought those ones with the soft material.”

Evie – “But they’re cute!”

Evie – “Is Young Sheldon the same as Old Sheldon on that Bing Bang Theory Show?”

One of my thrift stores had a sale today.  I took Evie.  I wanted to get her a spare hoodie and we found one she liked so I had her try it on.  Her comment:

“Yeah, I wouldn’t say no to this.”

Evie – “Does the earth go around the moon?”

Nana – “No the moon goes around the earth and the earth goes around the sun and…”

Evie – “Whoa, I’m getting dizzy!”

Nana – “After you eat your lunch, I’m gonna go take a shower.”

Evie – “That’s fine.  That was thought out perfectly!”
