Had to include a photo of herself and this is what I got when I said SMILE!

This started as stuff Evie has said that I've remembered to write down. If only I had started sooner. I've missed things like "I almost agot", "Mmmmm, goot", "Farshfellows are yummy, yummy, yummy", "All the people", "Hubba, Hubba, Hubba", "Baa Baa Boo", "Cowabunga, Dude!", "A Lion Guard Bliund Bag", "I do it", "Oh, yaaaah", "I'm a Haidband Haid", "Dey Cazzy". As of 2017, we've added stuff Andy says, too. I sometimes forget to post it before I've forgotten what they said or did so this is by no means all the funny things that have happened. And you also don't get to see the looks on their faces, the tone of voice they used or the hand gestures that go along with it. I wish I'd had something like this for my kids!

Evie and I have been anxiously waiting for Mom, Dad and Andy to come home. She just got up from where she was sitting, walked over to me and announced:
“I have to get ready for my little man!”
Which was cute enough but she continued talking about how she couldn’t wait to meet her little man tonight (I think she means greet cuz she’s already met him and she told me earlier she was in charge of greeting him when he got home). She is now putting on jewelry and lip gloss and stuff and then she said:
“I hope he likes me and thinks I’m glamorous!”
Evie -“I was watching a Zootopia video that led me to another video that was ZOOTOPIA CUTENESS!” I didn’t have any other face but this one to show. My smile got bigger and better!”
The nurse came in to check on everyone and asked Evie what she thought about her new brother. Evie gave her two thumbs up. The nurse said something like ‘that’s it, that’s all you’ve got to say’ to which Evie replied:
“I’m so excited and speechless that that’s my only way of communication.”
Evie was hanging in my room and Dad came in to say goodbye. The following conversation took place:
Evie – “Dad, do you recognize this song?”
Dad – “Yes.”
Evie – “Then before you go out, you should probably dance!”

Evie and I were talking aboout our trip to Out Of Africa and how we were in the bus and drove by and fed the giraffe and camel. Then she says:
“It’s like the McDonald’s drive-thru where you return the food!”
Evie – “I can’t wait for Dad Dad to see me. He’s going to love me.”
Nana – “Dad will love you no matter how you look, sweetie.”
Evie – “Well, now he will have a big crush!”
Nana – “There’s that face I love so much.”
Evie – “And a syrup face is also cute.”
Evie – “I used to do that all the time when I was a kid. Funny times!”
