Evie asked for and received a bite of my macaroni salad while I was having lunch today. She swallowed, licked her lips and said:
“Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm. I like that part for lunch or dinner!”
This started as stuff Evie has said that I've remembered to write down. If only I had started sooner. I've missed things like "I almost agot", "Mmmmm, goot", "Farshfellows are yummy, yummy, yummy", "All the people", "Hubba, Hubba, Hubba", "Baa Baa Boo", "Cowabunga, Dude!", "A Lion Guard Bliund Bag", "I do it", "Oh, yaaaah", "I'm a Haidband Haid", "Dey Cazzy". As of 2017, we've added stuff Andy says, too. I sometimes forget to post it before I've forgotten what they said or did so this is by no means all the funny things that have happened. And you also don't get to see the looks on their faces, the tone of voice they used or the hand gestures that go along with it. I wish I'd had something like this for my kids!

Evie – “I think it’s time to start making (sun) tea.”
Nana – “You are right that it’s time cuz it’s good and hot out there but I’m not really in the mood for tea right now.”
Evie – “Yeah, I’m not, either…But I’m in a very good mood to help you make it!”
I love the “BREEEAAADDD!” at the end.
Evie – “Nana, watch my pirouette!”
Nana – “I think a pirouette is spinning on one foot. What you’re doing is more of a leap and I don’t really know the name for that.”
Evie – “Nana, watch my Balleap!”

Evie – “MomMom drew herself in purple. I drew me and Dad and you. The squiggly stuff is clouds.”
Nana – “That looks like a 4, what is the 4?”
Evie – “That’s your seat!”
Nana – “Oh, yeah, that’s the car. I see it now. We went somewhere?”
Evie – ” Yeah, out to dinner. We’re having the nachos!”

Went to Out Of Africa yesterday. We had a fantastic time. Evie fed a giraffe and a camel. We saw ostriches, zebras, antelope, lions, panthers and more. We went to Tiger Splash. We got really lucky and walked right by a white tiger and a white rhino, neither of which came out on the tour for everyone else. I had no signal, so couldn’t post and don’t remember all the adorable responses but I do remember as we were leaving, Evie said:
“Thanks for coming with us, Nana. I wouldn’t a had any fun without you!”
I know she would have but it was a nice cap on the end of a great day. Soooo much fun!

Dad – “Look out the window. Those are some pretty views, right?”
Evie – “Yeah, it’s Paradise!”
