The three of us went on a walk today. The wind picked up.
Evie – “Hold on to your brothers and your hats!!”

Awestruck
Evie and I were talking about what we each had for dinner. I told her I’d had chili dogs. She commented on how she wanted that so bad then said she’d rather have chili over tots. I told her I wasn’t much of a tots fan and would rather have chili fries. The rest of the conversation went as follows:
Nana – “Oh, that reminds me. I’ve got some potatoes. I can make some fries and have them with my leftover chili.”
Evie looks at me in complete and utter amazement and says “You can make fries???”
The Special
Evie came in asked me if I’d like something from her restaurant and when I said yes, she asked if I wanted The Special. This is what she brought me. Pasta, salad and dumplings.

“OMG, you look sooooo cute, Nana!”

Making Up Songs
Evie was patting Phoebe this morning. She started rubbing her on her back by her tail. Phoebe was digging it and Evie starts singing (to the tune of Do-Dah, Do-dah) “Who wants to have her butt pet? She does, she does!”
Babies Are Hard
Nana – “I think Blaine’s mama is gonna have another baby.”
Evie – “That will be 3 kids, then. She’s gonna need a lot of help from Blaine.”
Nana – “That’s for sure cuz I think she takes care of another kid, too.”
Evie – “You mean she’s a babysitter, too?”
Nana – “I think so.”
Evie – “OMG, she’s gonna be so stressed!”
“My Hair is Now a Kite!”

Forgot
It is sooooo weird without Evie here this morning!
Also, I forgot to mention that a couple weeks ago, she started putting herself to bed at night. So we are definately sadly (and happily) making that transistion up from little girl. Heavy sigh! If they could just stay little….!
Firsts
Evie is having her first sleep-over tonight!
