I did some rearranging in my room and now some of my games are out where they can be seen. Evie asked me the other day
“Can we play Yahtzee or the trivia game before you die?”
This started as stuff Evie has said that I've remembered to write down. If only I had started sooner. I've missed things like "I almost agot", "Mmmmm, goot", "Farshfellows are yummy, yummy, yummy", "All the people", "Hubba, Hubba, Hubba", "Baa Baa Boo", "Cowabunga, Dude!", "A Lion Guard Bliund Bag", "I do it", "Oh, yaaaah", "I'm a Haidband Haid", "Dey Cazzy". As of 2017, we've added stuff Andy says, too. I sometimes forget to post it before I've forgotten what they said or did so this is by no means all the funny things that have happened. And you also don't get to see the looks on their faces, the tone of voice they used or the hand gestures that go along with it. I wish I'd had something like this for my kids!

Andy is now sitting up from a prone position. He still refuses to crawl but when he’s lying down, he’ll sit up and go back down to prone on his own.
Evie – “When Auntie visits me, I want to ask her when the volcano in Washington is going to erupt. It’s kinda cool cuz it’s the first volcano I know that is snowing.”
Last night, Evie asked Mama about a poem that she wrote for Dada a long time ago. Mama read it and when she was done, Evie moved over to Dada, poked him with her elbow, wriggled her eyebrows and said
“She looovvvesss you!”
Evie – “What do you call a bear with no ears?”
Nana – “I don’t know. What do you call a bear with no ears?”
Evie – “B!”
As I said, Andy has been making all the usual baby noises. The ‘rents have been insisting he’s been calling for me. I say he’s just making his noises (and they’re just trying to get me to take him, lol). But I swear, last night he looked right at me and said “Nana”.
Evie – “Well, I think I think it in my head and then it comes out of my mouth.”
You know how babies mimic back what you say when they are learning to talk? Well, the whole house has been sick for the last couple months. So along with all the DaDas, NaNas and BaBas that Andy is spouting he has started fake coughing!!! So funny.
I was getting ready to take my shower and looking in my drawer for what to wear. I asked Evie if it was supposed to get hot later and she said:
“No, 6 more weeks of winter!”
Evie has many boy friends at school but one in particular is current. She told me:
“I’m in love with Grayson. Grayson is happy about that. I am, too, cuz I’ve been waiting a long time for someone to be happy with my love.”
