Stuff the Grandkids say Stuff the Grandkids say

Nana – “They have a bridge in China made out of glass. It’s like a window. That would scare the heck outta me.”

Evie – “Don’t look down!”

Evie – “I don’t know what we’re going to give you for a present.”

Nana – “Oh, you don’t have to give me anything. You’re all the present I need.”

Evie – “Nana, I’m not wrapped!”

Evie – “Where did you learn the word hoot?”

Nana – “It’s kind of an old fashioned word. Like discomblooberated or catewampuss.”

Evie – “Oh, like crooked.”

Evie – “I did it myself and I didn’t get pissy about it or nothin’!”

Nana – “If you see a stray dog, you stop and put your hand down like this to let him smell you so he knows you’re a friend.”

Evie – “You first, I insist!”

Evie – “I get tongue tie whenever someone does something amazing!”

(That’s not a typo.  She said tongue tie.)

Evie – “That’s the best movie you ever haven’t seen.”

Evie just came in and sang a song for me. I told her it was great, she was a great little singer. Her response was:

“Yeah, I’m an artist!”

Evie has been using voice on the tablets. She has also been getting some flack about being more polite. Tonight she had some screen up that she didn’t want and so she kept telling it

“Please go away!”

expecting the tablet to respond, like when she asks it to Open YouTube or something. OMG! So funny.

Evie – “Are they in love or sumthin’ ?”

Nana – “I think so.”

Evie – “Can I be the first one to say Ewww?!?”
