Stuff the Grandkids say – Page 32 – This started as stuff Evie has said that I've remembered to write down. If only I had started sooner. I've missed things like "I almost agot", "Mmmmm, goot", "Farshfellows are yummy, yummy, yummy", "All the people", "Hubba, Hubba, Hubba", "Baa Baa Boo", "Cowabunga, Dude!", "A Lion Guard Bliund Bag", "I do it", "Oh, yaaaah", "I'm a Haidband Haid", "Dey Cazzy". As of 2017, we've added stuff Andy says, too. I sometimes forget to post it before I've forgotten what they said or did so this is by no means all the funny things that have happened. And you also don't get to see the looks on their faces, the tone of voice they used or the hand gestures that go along with it. I wish I'd had something like this for my kids!

Early Riser

Nana – “I didn’t expect you to be up so early.”

Evie – “I got up so early so I wouldn’t miss anything.”

Evie tells me:

“I’m gonna write a secret message on my napkin.”

I say OK and she wrote several lines on the napkin while moving her lips. She hands it to me and says:

“Here, Nana. It says I love you!”

Nana was a bit misty-eyed for a minute.

Evie – “I’m such a clever kid!”

Put the cookies in the oven and I turned around to see and hear this:

Evie – “Nana, I got a pillow so I can watch the cookies better.”

Nana – “You want to hand them to me?”

Evie – “Yeah! I’ll be the hand-o-matic!”

Evie – “Sometimes when I’m about to sneeze, my nose gets a little boogery”

After watching quite a bit of the gymnastics this week, Evie’s has set up a “limbo” and her animals are doing a “triple fliple doubles”.

Evie – “Oh, oh! That’s not gonna end well!”

Nana – “Wow, the remote went crazy, huh!”

Evie – “Yeah, it went hangwire!”

Evie – “Ahhhh, new pudding smell!”
