This started as stuff Evie has said that I've remembered to write down. If only I had started sooner. I've missed things like "I almost agot", "Mmmmm, goot", "Farshfellows are yummy, yummy, yummy", "All the people", "Hubba, Hubba, Hubba", "Baa Baa Boo", "Cowabunga, Dude!", "A Lion Guard Bliund Bag", "I do it", "Oh, yaaaah", "I'm a Haidband Haid", "Dey Cazzy". As of 2017, we've added stuff Andy says, too. I sometimes forget to post it before I've forgotten what they said or did so this is by no means all the funny things that have happened. And you also don't get to see the looks on their faces, the tone of voice they used or the hand gestures that go along with it. I wish I'd had something like this for my kids!
Evie asked me to make her a tent outta my chair. Explained I really couldn’t do that since I no longer had the attached pillow (that was intergral to the last tent). I said to hang on, I’d try something different. What I ended up with was a little small and when I asked her if that works she said:
“Oh, yeah. It works for a peanut like me!”
Evie – “It’s OK to make two oopsies.”
Evie – “It’s OK to make an oopsie, Nana”
Earlier I fixed Evie’s jumping tiger. Then I had to fix her bucket. While I was working on the bucket she says:
“You’re like a Walmart seller!”
I have no idea what she means by that, but LOL!
I was trying to find a way to make Evie’s new suction mounted toothbrush holder work and it fell off several times. Last time she goes:
“Really…Really, Nan!”
(That’s not a typo.)
Nana – “Oh, I had some more cookie dough I didn’t know about. We will just have to bake more.”
Evie – “Yeah, No Problem!”
Evie – “Boy, it’s hot as a bagel out there!”
I just told Evie I was born in Canada so I’m an alien. Should have seen the look on her face to hear that her Nana was actually an alien.
Evie – “It was HUGE!”
Nana – “It was huge?”
Evie – “Well, not Huge Huge. Kinda Small Huge.”
Evie – “I confused myself and now myself is confused”
